Here's a question that should hopefully appeal to you: What song would
you want to see in a collection of SubGenius music? I don't just mean
songs about "Bob" (i.e. "The Ballad of J.R. 'Bob' Dobbs) -- I mean
songs that YOU feel are Slackful and deserving of mention. It's as if
some idiotic TV reporter asked you a question like this: "If you could
define Slack in terms of a song, what would that song be?" (As if
anyone could really "define" Slack! But I hope you can see what I'm
getting at here. And it doesn't have to be only ONE song.)

The reason why I'm asking this question should be made clear to you on
X-Day. You WILL be there at Brushwood on the morning of July 5th for
the Rupture, won't you?!?

My choices would be "God" or "Working Class Hero" by John Lennon; "On
The Air" or "Not One Of Us" by Peter Gabriel; "Heart of Gold" by Neil
Young. Hardly earth-shattering, I know...but that's just me.

Me, I'm a Weird Al Yankovic fan, so I'd go with some of his stuff. Maybe
"Livin' With a Hernia" because it's just plain funny; some of his polka
medleys;
"Dare to Be Stupid" for the Mark Mothersbaugh/Devo connection; certainly
"Amish Paradise" because it pisses off Coolio.

In fact, I figure you can find some good stuff in Dr. Dementos' playlists.

Hmm, gave this some thought. My top choice is "Moving Right Along" by
Kermit and Fozzie from the Muppet Movie. I tend to hold Muppets in the same
regard some hold Anime, so the entire Muppet Movie is one great road flick.
