The end-times-style grapefruit-sized hail also destroyed shopping centers and fairgrounds within HALF A MILE of our Temple here, but NEVER TOUCHED OUR PROPERTY. In fact, I sat in my office that night, sorting undergound High Weirdness type mags, listening to antique KPFA SubGenius Radio Show tapes from 1983 dubbing for Phineas, and never even knew there was a city-wide disaster happening until my mom called to ask if I was still alive.
There was ONE SMALL DENT on the hood of the rent-car after the storm, as if Odin was saying, "I COULD HAVE...."
