JANOR UPDATE:

I spoke to him for about 2 hours last night. He continues to
apparently build success with his 'Mr. TV' act, which he puts on on
Venice Beach... He wants to add a part where he tortures a Bin Laden
doll to the strains of 'Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?' ... a lot of
people come up to him and say he's the best thing out on that beach
but other stupider people don't get the act and are mean. He suffers
the fools. He has good showings and bad showings.... his act is about
5 or 6 minutes long. He has recently just gotten an agent who is going
to send him around to some carnival for which the agent has made him
an attractive offer... he aspires to get on the Conan O'Brien show.
Donations have been down on Venice beach in general since the attacks
of 9/11 often performers just make enough to cover the expense of
going out there, have some food, and get back. He doesn't like L.A.
and its 'ambient pain' but doesn't know where else to move and doesn't
have the money to move... I want to come out with thie new digital
'Janor Device'... Just don't feel like dealing with printing out
labels and mailing out stuff. I'm thinking of putting out the new
Janor Device on the internet and let people download it and ask for a
donation to help give Janor some money.
