MOVING! MY GOD! What a pain and what a wrenching nostalgia trip! MONKEY wrenching! Change of address card to every magazine, catalog, credit card, probation officer, croaker and bookie; getting a NEW address. PO Box 19355 Cleveland OH 44119. Cancel phone, get new phone. New Internet Service Provider. New RETURN ADDRESS RUBBER STAMPS... PACKING. Raiding liquor store dumpsters for empty boxes. Seeing every doctor and getting every prescription refilled one last time. Saying goodbye to everybody you know in town... the weepy gleepy farewell parties. New car registration, license, bleh bleh, yeh yeh... Resetting all your car radio presets to WCSB. STATE INCOME TAX?!?!?Round on the ends, high in the middle. Having to find new suppliers of bulk tapes, office supplies, learn new PASSWORDS, get new bodyguards, new drug dealers, new wife... get used to strange franchises and baffling ethnic groups they didn't have on the old planet...

But "CUCK IT!" , by Gobbs, my computer DIDN'T BREAK on the Arkansas highways, my huge desks are in their new Throne Office, the cotton is high and the 'Frop is green (with purple hairs and blue eyes). My Command Module is completely re-retrofitted, Tarzan's Radio Station is up and swinging... EVERYTHING IS OKAY AND ONLY ONE VCR GOT KILLED OR EVEN HURT!!
IT IS DONE!! SLACK RETURNS!! SLACK! Gouts and BUCKETS of Slack. Washtubs and small city RESERVOIRS of Slack. Lakes and OCEANS, mighty RIVERS and WATERFALLS of Slack... GEYSERS! SLACK VOLCANOES! Slack supernovas and subatomic Slack cold fusion reactions in EVERY ATOM of EVERY CELL!
I realized that it's time for me to let go of the built-up Hate Squared and angers and let them fly off at top speed like escaped buzzards, and maybe work on the Slack and, uh, forgiveness end of things, seeing as how we're swiftly approaching the End of Things. The very SEAT of the century, the ass of the millenium, the butt of the thousand year joke. "The more Slack you have, the more Slack you can radiate to others." Somebody said that. So that's my goal. SLACK. Simple enough.
AAHHHHHhhh but the move is DONE. None died, and NOTHING was thrown away -- NOTHING!!
