Thank you for returning it. I am not rich and I have to buy my copy just
like everybody else. It always makes me feel kind of sick when I get
singled out and FUCKED just because... well, because some people have a
WHOLE lot of Conspiracy celebrity-worship/hate in them still. They STEAL
from me like I'm a celebrity but I sure ain't getting PAID like one!
I know a guy who thought it would be really FUNNY to steal Devo's supply of
radiation suits JUST BECAUSE HE FOUND THE BOX BACKSTAGE, AND COULD. TOTALLY
fucked them up for the tour. And the bastard was SO STUPID, he TOLD Mark
Mothersbaugh about it years later. Mark so SO PISSED STILL that he lakked
to punch the stupid fuck right then and there. (I stopped doing bizness
with the stupid fuck in question myself.)
This sort of shit is why, when TheCharlie sent all those art prints, I had
to HIDE MOST OF THEM AWAY -- two were stolen before we could even staple
the first few up.
I don't know how many rock bands let the audience use their equipment after
the show, but we do. Or did. People like your friend make us feel like SAPS
for NOT acting like celebrity assholes and having COPS around.
