ATLANTA DEVIVAL REPORT

From: Monsterwax <Monsterwax@aol.com>

The Southern Bible Belt tour is now complete. Last weekend Janor Hypercleets and Papa Joe Mama fulfilled their threat of burning a pathway from Atlanta to the Savannah Sea. While the turn out in Atlanta was less than expected, the show was broadcast on the internet and watched by Subgenius viewers throughout the planet. One viewer in Denmark called to congratulate Joe Newton, the mastermind behind the broadcast. Joe did great work.

The show itself pulled no punches. Weird ass music by Lymph Node filled the eerie evening. Atlanta's own super hero, Danger Woman, appeared and thwarted all crime in the vicinity with her "Super Singing". She was rewarded for her efforts by Papa Joe Mama who presented her with Bob Dobb's most prestigious honor, The Key to Planet X. There was some speculation that the real motive for this gesture was to prevent Danger Woman from fighting the Xist on July 5th, but Papa Joe assured the audience there was no hidden agenda. Danger Woman graciously accepted the award on behalf of other Super Heroes like Blue Thunder, because she had been taught in Super Hero School to always share.

WREK's Rev. Rock N. Hand spoke to the audience about Subgenius topics of interest. Revealing them here could result in prosecution, so mums the word.

The Rev. Wolfboy then took the stage and gave a heart felt sermon on life as a Mutant. It was stultifying. Papa Joe returned to present a kinder, gentler FINAL SOLUTION he called "A Modest Proposal". Wolfboy was good enough to provide visual aids showing how a large 800 ton dome would be lowered atop a planned community from Disney to preserve a small portion of The Conspiracy for future generations to marvel at. Chilling.

In Subgenius Guru, Saint Janor Hypercleets took the stage and, like Jerry Lewis in his censored role of The Clown Of Auschwitz, lead the children in laughter during their final moments of life. It put a smile on the snout of many an Xist, probably watching via AOL (they're gluttons for punishment).

Lymph Node turned 5 minutes of Intermission into 25 minutes of musical melody.

Janor Hypercleets returned to talk about "The Night People". Many of his targets of derision were present in the audience. One had to be escorted away from the stage. (But no subgenius show is complete without one certifiably insane street person). Rev. Wolfboy gave another rant, this one shorter but no less poignant than the first. Papa Joe followed wearing a Dobbsian Dictator Uniform to bark the famous "What If" rant, explaining what Subgenius get, even if Bob Dobbs doesn't exist (a purely hypothetical question, of course). Janor and Papa Joe then launched the Bleeding head into the audience. It was terrifying (to pinks). The audience went nuts (an easy feat given the make up of the crowd) and the show wound up around midnight.

It was a touching tribute to man and mutant. One that brought tears to the eyes of many in attendance. Considering there were not very many in attendance, but also recognizing that there were twice as many eyes than there were attendees.

And on a personal note, I'd like to thank the Canadian Bob Dean, a surprise guest who generously volunteered to give head to all those who needed to wind down after the show. Thanks Bob. Some stupid things may come out of your mouth, but even greater things cum into it.

In summery, it was a profitable venture in every regard other than money. And since all the money was being donated to charity anyway (i.e., the Janor Hypercleets "My Wallet" Foundation), low profits were the least of any one's concerns. The money came pouring in the NEXT NIGHT in Savannah with a sell-out crowd. (Folks in Savannah are historically sell-outs.) But that report will be next time. Suffice to say, Hard-core Subgenius viewers were pleased with the Atlanta Show and The Conspiracy was outraged. So The Mission was a success!
