Pope's SubGenius comment.

Well, clearly, the Pope's infallibility does not extend to other
religions. In fact, if there is to be ANY BALANCE in the UNIVERSE, if his
pronouncements on Catholicism are, by definition always _right_, his
pronouncements on other religions ought to be always _wrong_.

Anyway, who looks to the pope for Buddhism? Buddha never talked about
Christianity . . .

By this rule, "Bob" would apparently be right about all NON-SubGenius
things, since he's infinitely fallible by definition.

Go for bachelor number two. The beauty of SubGeniusdom is that it is
compatible with all major world religions. Oh sure, some of the SICK
HATE from those other religions needs to be removed in hooking up to
the SubGenius way (then that sick hate is replaced with healthy hate),
but other than that, there's nothing preventing a person from being
a SubGenius *and* a Catholic.

Actually I could not be anything but a SubGenius...but I'm the kinda of
SubGenius who would lie about it too. I know enough about Catholicism to
know that I would never really want to be one. I'm just saying if I
could be the head dude of all Catholics and have access to all the money
that a pope has, well, I might take the job. Of course, I wouldn't want
to give up sex or have to wear those pope duds or have to go to church
all the time and I don't understand Latin. In fact, I'd make a shitty
pope. After thinking about, I've decided that if the job was offered to
me, I mean if they came looking for me and asked me to be their pope, I
would turn 'em down.

HEY! What I wouldn't give to have a REALLY COOL HAT like the Pope
does. And he's got a Pope-Mobile and a Pope-747 and *total*
job security and he wins ALL his argues so long as he sits in the
right chair!
