First, the great Mister Fernandinande LeMur made SubGenius graphics -- a couple thousand a year, as seen in the SubSITE Art Mines. Then he started doing the same thing to sound, forever changing The Hour of Slack. This CDR contains 1,027 tracks dating from March 2002 to March 2005, all in ogg vorbis format except for 55 MP3s. Among the 1,000 cuts are 84 Hour of Slack Intros, and 87 episodes of PR Gnus.

WARNING: This is THE most sense-twisting audio the Church has to offer. We leave it up to the buyer to use the tracks wisely. Some may wish to convert them all to MP3 so they can be played in a car. THAT WOULD BE SUICIDE. Some may want to put them on CD audio. That might be safe enough, since a CD can only hold 99 tracks.

NOTE: The free Ogg Vorbis component is available at vorbis.com and allows all common computer media players to play this fine non-Conspiracy audio format.

 Those beloved by "Bob" have been buying more of our CDRs with MP3s on them than CDs with regular CD audio. But why? Just because you get 80 hours instead of 80 minutes for the same price and practically the same sound? Go figure. But, WHY NOT! So we started routinely converting everything to MP3 after use on The Hour of Slack. This is our first product like this; there's plenty more where this came from (see below!). (Most of these MP3s are high quality stereo, so the CDR does not actually last 80 hours -- more like 40 hours.)

A superb session on Radio Patapoe in Amsterdam is interspersed with the best excerpts from rants by Rev. Ivan Stang, Pope Black, Pope Mickey Finn, Pope Phil Monty, Rombo Baak, Kaiser Carl X, Rev. Lucky Bastard, Joseph Daddy of Jesus, Lord Yeti, others. Music by LEEVIL, The TombOrchestra, others. Truly, it is gigantically refreshing to hear the Word of "Bob" delivered in so many alternatives to the standard American Southern Preacher Accent.

 This disk contains a year's worth of the LIVE parts of Hour of Slack (and posted to alt.binaries.slack), in high-quality stereo MP3 -- with Rev. Ivan Stang, Lonesome Cowboy Dave, Princess Wei "R" Doe and others (such as Dr. Sinister, when we call in to his shows, and a few bits from the now-defunct ESO Radio show with Chaz Smith. It's probably roughly 40 hours of the purest bulldadaspeak. Each week's show is represented by a folder containing MP3 clips labeled by date and subject matter, so they're easy to sort for your own purposes... if you have such purposes.

This includes ALL of SubSITE as of June 1999, except the archived Hours of Slack, the larger video clips, some of the Funhouse Games, the ancient MIT SubG mail-list stash and the sound files, which wouldn't fit and are on the below companion volume, SubGenius Multimedia. ALL of the Art Mines from that time are included. All SEVERAL THOUSAND pieces of art. You also get everything else that was on SubSITE, such as the entire out-of-print book, THREE FISTED TALES OF "BOB," the zillions of articles and condensed alt.slack threads, the pre-vert porno, etc. You work this CD ROM by pointing a browser like Netscape or Explorer, which are not included, at any of the html files such as "Index.html". The most fun, however, derives from using a graphics browser to slide-show through the vast art files (all of which are inside the directories "pics," "pics2" and "pics6").
