 This is the UNCUT, RESTORED version of Rev. Ivan Stang's 16mm black and white underground movie, Let's Visit the World of the Future. In 1973, while still sporting the unlikely name of Douglass St. Clair Smith, Stang removed 20 minutes from this 45 minute film because... well, because David Lynch hadn't been invented yet, and these scenes were freaking people out. In 2004, Stang re-transfered and restored the censored scenes. THIS IS NOT A SLICK FILM. But it is a SICK film, made sicker by restoration. The attentive will notice MANY early uses of SubGenius concepts and terminology! Also included: a crude but intense 5-minute introduction made by Stang specifically for an interactive public showing in 1974, and The Human Animal -- an 8mm monster movie by Stang and his younger brother. The first hour of this program was made by Rev. Ivan Stang specifically for projection at live stage shows, devivals, raves, etc, and presents pure eye-candy and instrumental music with only the occasional Dobbshead or OverMan peeking through. The second hour involves shorter pieces, animation/music videos focused on "Bob," made mostly by Stang since the Dobbsedeliasteses collection was done. Almost all of these can be seen Rev. Stang's YouTube channel, but many excited SubGenii who have seen these projected at live shows have asked for these trippy visuals on DVD.
