Another interesting political theory:

A compendium of a recent mail exchange:

A newspaper, titled "Michael Fighting", from Rougemont, Quebec,
"Published by the Pilgrims of Saint Michael". A sample:

"But it was only a few months later, in November of 1963, that the
world received the shocking news of President Kennedy's assassination.
No reason was given, of course, for anyone wanting to commit such an
atrocious crime. But for those who knew anything about money and
banking, it did not take long to put the pieces of the puzzle
together. For surely, President Kennedy must have had it in mind to
repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, and return back to the United
States Congress the power to create its own money."

Among other things, Michael Fighting seems to have a bent for some
whacko economic theory that involves a "social divident", which as far
as I can figure out is "having the government print lots of money and
giving it to everybody", a plan which makes as much sense as the plan
in the second Hitchiker book to use leaves as money, so everybody
would be rich.

This sounds like pretty bogus crap to me, but it is interesting in a way.
One of the most plausible theories I have heard on the Kennedy assassination
relates to a speech JFK made shortly before his demise, in which he said
he was going to expose "the gnomes of Zurich". The "gnomes of Zurich" is
a euphemism for the ultra-secretive and powerful Illuminatae (sp?), a
group of very very rich and powerful businessmen. They are supposed to
have incredible control of the World Bank and the IMF (International
Monetary Fund). They are strongly linked with the Masons (not all Masons,
you understand, but with the highest levels of that organization).
The theory is that the Illuminatae had Kennedy killed before he could
expose them or otherwise harm their mission, whatever that may be.

I find this especially interesting since my great-grandfather on my
mother's side was some order well above a 32nd-degree Mason, and one
of my great-uncles (great-granddad's son) is a very high-powered legal
and policy consultant for various groups including the Democratic
National Party, but much of his work has been done for the IMF, and
some for the World Bank. He's rather secretive about those dealings,
while he is very open about his purely political work in the Far East
and such.

Ah yes. There is a Canadian political party called the Social Credit
which expouses this version of the free lunch theory. The scary
thing is that the have a lot of clout. If you think that American
politics are amusing, try Canadian politics.

The Social Credit aren't a fringe group, by the way. They have formed
several provincial governments.
