last one in Texas included lotsa park rangers with video-cameras
documenting the ritual(s). lotsa nekkid people. lotsa MUD people--a
large chain of 200 people covered with mud ran around the main circle.
this was truly something to behold. the mud people made it into the
paper.
on the 4th, many many . . "outsiders" shall we say--the local
yokels--came to goggle at us. a very big media event for them.. 5
different tv stations, many papers. i talked to one guy from a tv
station--he said it was the biggest thing inna long time.
many times i strode about, wearing but only the "bob" shirt i made
(if you remember last year's boston devival, i was making (spraying)
them on the spot there). We also had a bright fluorescent "Bob" in
our black&yellow polka-dotted wheelbarrow. was big hit. got many
requests for stencil.. there are copies going out to illinois, hawaii,
long beach.
