Dear Mr. Wasserman,
I recently received a mailing from an organization called the American
Family Association, denouncing you and your film @i{The Last Temptation
of Christ.} These people are crazed bigots and we are appalled at their
ignorant hate-mongering campaign against your film.
On behalf of all thoughtful and tolerant Christians, our organization
has voted to apologize to you for the madness committted in our name.
Our group will be circulating a petition to theatres in the Boston area,
asking them to exhibit @i{TLToC}. We hope it will be shown in this area
soon. We will make no decision about this film's moral suitability
until we have seen it for ourselves, and we will certainly not attempt
to force our judgements on anyone else, to dictate our private opinions
as public policy.
Please forward a copy of this to MCA's president, Mr. Sheinberg, who has
undoubtedly been receiving his share of abuse from these moral
brown-shirts.

art and wants to start designing letterheads for these groups, please
respond!
