Satan was the gaffer for this flick

The Boston Clench goes to the movies:

We had interesting talks with the demonstrators, most of whom were from
a Catholic group that wears baby-blue berets and believes in a
Mary-channeler in Bayside, NY called Veronica Leuken. They gave us some
real photographs of the apparitions! And a little piece of cardboard on
a shoestring that claimed it would save the wearer from hell if they
died while wearing it. I almost killed myself right there!

Opening quote from their journal (Roses, PO Box 52, Bayside NY
11361-0052): "Veronica--All abvout the trees now there are cascading
the most beautiful blue lights. They're the call lights of Our Lady.
[More likely it's really the wrong kind of UFOs.] And directly above the
trees, there is a circlet of light that's opening up...while I;m
watching this, I notive that the trees are beginning to, also, be tinged
with pink about them. Oh, that would mean, that is Jesus's color."
Actually, the film shows that Jesus was no pink boy.

Rev. Foo successfully pulled off his planned bit of street theatre, with
the aid of a spontaneous and unwitting helper in the line. He managed
to do it before a video camera and may already be famous. The police
were convinced that he was unstable and asked us to keep an eye on him,
which we did. Revs. Liz and SSJ also were there with the gay pagan
anarchist satanist conspiracy contingent. Best sign: "Jesus died for
my sins and all I got was this lousy T-shirt".

Revs. Foo, Levity, and myself passed out this pamphlet (Rev. Levity
dressed in priestly garb, with no apparent ill effects):

*Satan wants you to see this movie!*

Satan's first sin was independent thought. This movie is of Satan! It
ignores the established image of Jesus in favor of an idiosyncratic,
individual interpretation. This is dangerous! Satan loves to entrap
independent thinkers.

This is why true Christians will not see this movie. We already know
what's safe to think. We have our Bible and our preachers to tell us
what to think. To think on our own is dangerous! It's much better to
let others do it for us.

Even worse, this movie presents Jesus himself as an independent thinker!
He has doubts, he asks questions. Nothing could be further from Jesus
as we know him. Truly, this movie is a trick of the devil. The devil
would have us ask questions. Jesus wants us to be like sheep!

Here's how you can avoid independent thought: read only publications
authorized by your church. Burn everything else. It's your duty to
prevent others from straying into error. Watch only Christian
television. Remove all non-Christian stimuli from your child's
environment. Almost anything can trigger a Satanic thought!

Despite our best efforts, thought can sometimes occur in our schools.
This must be combatted. Get on curriculum committees and make sure that
only authorized textbooks are used. Science is notorious for ideas--be
wary. Secular Humanists are everywhere!

Beware of people who ask a lot of questions or doubt established faith.
These so-called intellectuals are merely pawns, willing or unwilling, of
the Satanic conspiracy to separate us from God. Don't listen to
unauthorized individuals!
