Subject: Modern Times
I used to use my telephone to speak to my friends when they were
far away. Now, thanks to modern telecommunications technology, I
can use my modem and terminal to log into work over the phone
lines. And instead of just speaking to my friends, I can send
them typed messages, or even files.
I used to throw eggs at other people's cars and fling toilet paper all
over their lawns, but now I just send idiotic, pointless messages to
them, and fill up their electronic mailboxes with shit.
Yeah, but there's no comparison... It's sooo much easier to type D
than it is to hose that burning bag of dogshit off the porch.
those were the good old days---
