Basically, this is more a dispute between Bob Black and the Small
Press Alliance. I have only heard Bob Black's point of view and
not the other party's involved. He'll reluctantly send you his
writings on this if you send a 45cent SASE to POBox 2159, Albany,
NY 12220. Apparently, his main gripe is with SPA of which some
of the Boston SubGenii are involved with and have gotten Stang
involved. I really don't think I should just give Black's point
of view but I printed his comments on the SubGenii merely to
point out how "followers" pop up anywhere someone comes up with
a "movement", even if the movement is a SCAM (for good purposes
or not) and how I think alot of the people involved with SugG
are merely repeaters and unoriginal thinkers. Hell, I'm one of
them (though no longer), I guess as my rants have borrowed from
Stang, et al.'s pseudo-cosmology. I'm also not convinced that there's
something not-good about making light about religions and
spiritual beliefs though I think if it's in the pretext of
attacking Church/State heirarchys, it's good since it might
change peoples mind about the REAL Con.
Sorry if this bores you and you can strip me of membership in this
mailing list if you feel I'm a heretic. In fact, I'd be proud
if you did. The Perpetual Thorn *will* survive however though I'm
dropping "the Church" part and am losing the Reverend title and
that's all.
