until you read his autobiography! That boy was out to mindfuck
*everybody*. Just imagine this scene: Watergate is starting to crack
open. All the mindless pink college-graduate Nixon aides (who have
never done any physical labor in their lives, much less had to deal
with death, blood, loyalty, the law, honor, etc...) are starting to go
crazy, and this crazy bastard offers himself to be assassinated.
Notice the details: He doesn't offer to kill *himself*, which would
satisfy his stated goals (breaking the chain of traceability from the
White House to the Plumbers) even better than being assassinated. He
dares the lilly-white hands crowd to deal with undiluted reality:
Killing in cold blood. You can hear him laugh in the background.
Liddy assassination Nixon leak bug croptosystems etc. etc.
