Announcement of the Agnostica mailing list:

Send subscription/unsubscription requests to
agnostica-request@proof.ergo.cs.cmu.edu.

This list is meant to be a place to discuss the chance that the axioms
upon which your life is based are wrong. Of course, we can't be sure
exactly what your axioms are, so there is no guarantee that every
message here will be something you disagree with. If you feel
uncomfortable reading this list, it means the list is working
correctly. If you feel bored, it means that the list is a failure.
Send opinions and advice about success/failure of this list to
agnostica-request@proof.ergo.cs.cmu.edu.

To prevent this mailing list from becoming a variant of
talk.religion.misc, we have the following ground rule:

Messages should be about "useful" things, not Truth. A statement is
useful if it is about something that a person or group of people could
at least hypothetically do and get some effect (whether subjective or
objective), and then post a description of the effect back to this
mailing list.

The owner of this list is Tim Freeman (tsf@cs.cmu.edu).
