A lot depends on how you define a soul.

I feel all matter to be living in some way or another, but I
don't know whether we truly have separate souls or not, so I'm not
sure how to answer. I think a fridge has a soul in one sense, but
that doesn't mean it's got it's *own* soul.

Am I making any sense?
