Somebody sent a message to subgenius-request asking about the origins of
mythical trinity of Manny, Moe, and Jack. I somehow lost the message
(or perhaps it was a hallucination in the first place), so whoever you
were, real or imaginary, the right place to send mail to the list is:

NOT subgenius-request, which is only for additions/deletions to the
mailing list or similarly mechanical tasks.
Anyway. Manny, Moe, and Jack are the "Pep Boys", the trademark of some
California auto-parts store. As to their origins or deeper
significance, I can't say. However, they do make up one of the more
popular ShorDurPerSavs in the Central Valley area.
