Fellow SubGenii,
After much soul searching I have decided to stop working for the con and
start working for myself. To be honest, the only factor that required soul
searching was that I would lose my freebee net access.
As of the 17th of this month, Hippo.EuroPARC@Xerox.COM will cease to exist.
It will hopefully to be replaced by hippo@tardis.cs.ed.ac.uk, but this
netnode is fraught with problems and may not be able to talk to The Big
Wide World (although it can listen).
Anyway, I'm sending out my goodbyes now because the Xerox mail system is
currently pretty much fscked, and only 1 in a zillion mail messages is
making it out into arpaland. It might take me a dozen tries to get this
message to y'all.
If you mail me anything please include a number I can reach you at, in case
I am unable to reply by mail.
