Dear Dale,
Thanks for posting the Joe Coleman article from the Globe. The story
was a big hit around here. Personally, I think it woulda been funnier
without the [editorial comments] but I'll take weird stories like that
any way I can get 'em.
Also, there's an interview/profile of Coleman in Re/Search #11: Pranks!
(pp 180-189). This won't be news to those of you who own this fine
volume, and should serve as encouragement for those who don't to obtain
it. It contains profiles of many jokers, pranksters, and madmen, all
aiming for that keen meta-humor, that lost chord of funny, sometimes
known as "comedy only dogs can hear." It's probably available in the
weirder comix stores in your area, or you can bite on the tit of
weirdness yourself by contacting Re/Search Publications 20 Romolo #b,
SF, CA [where else?] 94133, (415) 362-1465.
Tell 'em the Rt. Rev. Wor. Dr. Foo sent ya.
