I'm stalkin' "Bob", and I've got all the trimmings. The beautiful live
girl he sent for communionication must've overdosed on the tapes. Has
this ever happened to any of you? She's full on into the slackless
anti-zone now -- I've been replaced with a once-too-many born-again
Christian fellow into Shepherding and real estate! He's in Pat Boone's
church in Van Nuys, for Jesus Fucking H. Christ, with Jack Hayford
(see Charisma Magazine or occasional TBN broadcasts) at the top of the
Shepherding Pyramid (cells are typically 12 or 13 sheep). I'm aware of
a recent meeting of 70 ministers in Hollywood where they "pledged a
covenant", and I have been unsuccessful at tracking down the _History of
Shepherding_ book (800 Boston CoC members took personality tests or
something...). Anyone seen this book? Another live girl is on the way,
but I haven't been doing much but listening to these awesome tapes from
Phoenix -- by the SUN CITY GIRLS!!! They fucking play plants, foliage
and shit. Here's a songlist from TORCH OF THE MYSTICS: [side 1] blue
mamba, tarmac 23, esoterica of abyssynia, space prophet dogon, [side 2]
the shining path, the flower, cafe batik, radar 1941, papa legba, the
vinegar stroke, burial in the sky. Anyone into them???

If you play it real loud in the dark you catch this AweSoMe buzz.

* The leader of the Soviet Communist Party calls for multiparty
elections in the USSR.
* Noriega falls and a popular democratic government is installed
in Panama.
* Lithuania moves to secede from the Soviet Union, and does not
wake up to find tanks parked on the lawn.
* Nelson Mandela is released from prison in South Africa.
* The US and the Soviet Union are in competition, this time to
see who can pull more troops out of Germany.
* Nicolae Ceaucescu perishes in miserable circumstances.
* etc. etc. etc.

Is it possible that the Harmonic Convergence...*worked?*

>Next performance is in Seattle, June 9th.

Mark's actually in Los Alamos for a conference right now, he
planned to do a small-scale performance there. The Seattle
one is being funded by COCA, the same folks who funded the
Re/Search Modern Primitives show, which got COCA in hot water with
Mr "That's Not Art" Helms.

The whistle's pretty great, you can't hear it so much as feel it,
and that for about three blocks. I haven't seen the latest model,
but a few weeks ago he had one that was basically a huge whistle
around two feet wide, 'blown' into by a large engine rotating a
fan to blow across the whistle. Makes you feel really ill after a short
time running.

See y'all in Seattle.

Trust me, he says. A penny for every time I heard that...
