On a related (flag-burning) note... someone suggested to me the other day
that, as a means of defense against arson-inclined anti-abortionists, they
should paint US flags on abortion clinics...

Another idea to combat flag burning, inspired by the drug wars: impregnate
them with some substance that produces toxic smoke when burned. Sure, some
patriotic bystanders might get gassed too, but risk-taking in the defense
of liberty is no vice.
