As for the religious element see the works of Dr Thomas Szasz for an in
in--depth analysis of drug prohibition as religious persecution.
Many fundamentalists at tent meetings must end up with _huge_ endorphin
levels...if we could bust them for opiates, well, it probably would raise
my endorphin level for one....
