Maybe down around YOUR ears, Monax. I've been here almost a year now
and I haven't even received mine yet!
The first clone-batch didn't take (I'd switched from my transit-gills a
week before, but there was still some residual argon/bismuth toxicity
that the mechs weren't expecting.)
Then I let the liaison talk me into a PINK skin-job, which means that
during all of Operation Coke Wards, while our morgue requisitions op had
dozens of pairs to choose, they were all BROWN!
Anyway, it's been one damn thing after another, and I'm getting sick of
having to wear oversize walkman phones every time I go out. It makes me
look like a mate-starved yertz.
My luck, my ears'll come thru in June '98, and I won't even have 'em
tuned and pierced before it'll be time to clean this place up and split.
BTW: And don't give me that shit about how our Bob-icon hasn't got ears
either! I know THEY don't seem to mind, but you try a stoll through
Dealy Plaza with your data-ports hanging out, and see what kind of looks
you get.
