According to Daily Mirror 6/11/90 (I picked it up on a train), quoting the
Providence Sunday Journal, Rhode Island, USA:
"The Northrop Corporation has taken legal action to prevent a Texas
company from marketing a new product Northrop says might be confused
with its B-2 Stealth bomber.
The product: Stealth Condoms.
In opposing the company's application for a trademark, Northrop contends
that the use of the name 'is likely to cause confusion, or to cause
mistake, or to deceive' people in the market place.
The paper goes on to describe the plane (250 feet long, $50 billion a
throw, and black) and the condoms (a few inches long, $5 a pack, and red,
white and blue) and to explain how John Hughes, the 28-year-old
founder of Stealth Condoms Inc, hopes to market them under the slogan
'They'll Never See You Coming'.
'Hughes says he will fight to keep his company's name', says the paper.
He feels he's got the better product: 'We offer a heck of a lot more
protection than the Stealth bomber, at a lot less cost'."
