The idea of sending Wildmonesque boycott cards to companies not being
boycotted is not a new one--The Realist did something similar in the
late fifties (reported in Paul Krassner's book, titled something like _How
I went from Satirical Magazine Editor to Yippie Conspirator_). He picked
out the most innocuous television show he could find and asked his readers
to call and complain about an unspecified and unspeakable offensive event
which occurred on the show. The producers were apparently put into quite
a panic about what they had possibly done to offend their viewers.
