Maybe I've got this guy confused with someone else, but didn't he spend time
in the slam during the 70s for basically the same type of financial-institution
scam? Perhaps someone knows more amusing details about Dix that they'd like
to share?

This is either the statement of a confirmed pink or a cleverly worded
statement designed to confuse. Few places in the world are reputed to
be as slackful as a Federal penitentiary. :-)
