Unless you request otherwise, you will be arbitrarily
assigned a letter of the alphabet (i.e. Informant C)

Please refer to me as "Informant G".

1. Gender
Male

2. Age
47
3. What do you call your religion/organization/belief system, and what
is your (official) position within it?

It is called the Church of the subGenius.
Formally I am the Rt-sh Reverend Henkel-Wallace.
For most day-to-day matters I use and am addressed as Rev.
Of course I have another name and title within the church but for
obvious reasons I cannot reveal it to you.

4. How long have you been a part of this religion/organization/belief
system?

About 30 years.

5. How did you become involved?

I had a direct revelation from our Arch-diety J. R. "Bob" Dobbs one
evening in my living room. It all seemed rather absurd at the time,
as I had no religion at all before that. However the mystical
power-symbols which he revealed to me at that time turned up too many
times in my life in the folowing days for me to ignore them -- so I
took up my role with joy.

6. What were you before?

As I said I had no religion at all. I'd never before thought of it to
the point of even saying "I do not have a religion" or "I am an
atheist" -- it just wasn't part o my life.

7. Are you part of a group, or is your practice/beliefs solitary?
If yes, what is the group organization, and how or by whom is
the group led?

Well of course our spriritual leader is the most holy, the most
slackless, the most misbegotten-cum-repentance Dobbs himself. As he
is no longer with us on this particular plane, we all follow him, as
he has special plans for all of us in order that we may each prepare
for the coming armageddon in the proper fashion.

I belive some who are not yet YETI practice in groups; I see them from
time to time. But Dobbs commands me in the ways that I follow (now for
fear of the consequences of failing to do so).

8. Are you part of a national/international movement? (Is it
primarily political or religious, or other?)

SubGenius is international; I have met and had relations with subgenii
of other nations. In fact the onslought to come lter this decade will
affect other planes, but I personally do not know if Dobbs has plans
for them. I suspect that they cannot be truly YETI and therefore
probably will but suffer to the same extent that will we.

9. If your religion/belief system/organization is religious, do you
have gender-specific deities? Who or what are they?

Bob TRANSENDS gender! Bob's avatar, "connie" TRANSENDS gender!
Gender is prehistoric and shall PASS! We have many more urgent and
important things to worry about than gender!

10. Do you worship a deity or deities because of its/his/her/their gender?

No.
11. How do you perceive, or do you in fact perceive, gender roles as being
different from your previous religion/belief system/organization or
surrounding society? (Or how are your perceptions different from those
around you?)

The rigidity of conventional gender-differentiation is a manifestation
of the con that we are striving so hard to overcome. It extends
deeply into the culture -- into the clothes we wear, the food we eat,
the declination of nouns, even the shape of our bodies! In a true
SubGenius society we will have no need for food nor gender; sex will
be symmetric, mandated, and yet not a role of the state.

12. Do you find yourself assigned or choosing roles in your religion/belief
system/organization based on your gender?
No.
13. Are there any rituals/beliefs/practices that are gender-specific in your
religion/belief system/organization?
No.
14. Do you feel at all persecuted, either within your religion/belief system/
organization because of your gender, or outside your religion/belief
system/organization because of your religion/belief system/organization.
(Also, if relevant, how does your family view your religion/belief system/
organization?)

My family is now the church, and is therefore quite supportive, except
for certain schizmatic groups. On the other hand I have found quite a
bit of ridicule from society at large; well-established religions
especially are the most difficult in this regard. I have several
Christian churches on my street and although the singing and music
from them is quite loud on week-ends, they have no sympathy for my own
rituals and are quite contemptuous of them.

The society in general treats SubG as some sort of a myth, which I
think is just the unconcious fear that if they acknowledge the truth
they will be revealed as dupes and have to face the unpleasant truth
of their own distruction. If they would only embrace the holy way of
Dobbs they would not have to face that dreadful fate.

15. Is there anything (gender-related or otherwise) you think I have not
considered and want to comment on? If so, please feel free.

Thee has been a serious, organized coverup in this country about the
vaues of heterodoxy. I should be pleased that at least some of us
will survive but you know it's a drag getting through it.
