In my quest for Bob, I have been trying to locate copies of the following:

Three Fisted Tales of Bob
The Book of the Subgenius, Volume I and II

Do you know of any bookstores that have these in stock? I have checked with
most of the book stores in San Antonio and Austin, and got mostly blank
stares. Any names/addresses/phone numbers you might know of would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan Ehrlich

I am tring to find "Books on Bob" (please excuse the pun). I have
heard of the following titles:

The Book of the Subgenius, Volumes I and II
Fistful Tales of Bob (or perhaps Thre Fisted Tales of Bob)

and
High Weirdness by Mail

If anyone can tell me the ISBN numbers it would be appreciated. Also,
any phone numbers for bookstores that stock these titles would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan Ehrlich

That reminds me. From the business card of the closest Asian restaurant:

X'ian
Fine Oriental Cuisine
259 D.W. Highway
Nashua, N.H. 03060
Tel. (603) 888-2221

They haven't yet revealed their connection to "Bob"'s Pizza in downtown
Nashua. Probably the interlocking board of directors ploy.

Hello fellow Slacksters...

Seeking to divert myself before the Xians come, I've devised a project. I
know all you subgenii computer hacks out there are fond of computer art
(concrete poetry, ascii portraits of "Bob", PostScript Dobbsheads, etc.),
so I'm trying to put together a little electronic art gallery. If anyone
has any good PostScript/ascii artworks, concrete poems, escape code
sequences, etc., that you'd like ta share, please send them along to

durfling@ac.grin.edu

I can't promise you fame or fortune, but I can promise that authors names
and any copyrights will be retained, and that the pictures will not be
redistributed unless express permission is granted (any other Neoists out
there?).

yours,

the IrRev. Finagle of the Greater Pangean Clench of the Suppurating
Stigmata.

I was watching a movie called Deadlock recently - it's your typical future
male/female prison flick. Throughout the prison there were placards with
words of warning for the prisoners, and while he wore a guard hat and had
a whistle instead of a pipe, 'twas definitely Bob on the placards.

Here's a new poem to make you feel better:

check in the mail- part three

check in the mail
check in the mail

check in the mail
check in the mail

check in the mail
check in the mail
weep no more, nor to wail

check in the mail
check in the mail
sweet beans in the pail
