Please remove me from the mailing list.

So, is there some sort of mailing list you can
put me on? GOOD! Put me on it!

PS you owe me $20.....

This isn't a mailing list, it's Grand Central Station!

Subscribe now while it's still YOUR CHOICE! In 1996, EVERYONE will be
forced to subscribe to The SubGenius Digest! Normals will be ARCWELDED
to their BARCALOUNGERS, their eyelids held open with CARPENTRY NAILS,
and forced to read SubGenius Digest on a 21-foot ADM-3A as it scrolls past
in UNREAL TIME!

Do you think the X-ISTS give a flying wad of ANTIMATTER whether or not you're
reading The SubGenius Digest? OF COURSE THEY DO! Every packet consumed by
US is a packet that some SLACKLESS GRAD STUDENT didn't get to use to advance
a thesis project that NO ONE IS EVER GOING TO READ. Every OCTET of slack
displaces KILOBYTES of slacklessness! We are the BLACK FLAG of the RAT RACE!

So you're asking me, ``Bob, how do I PLUG IN?'' Well, idiot, my name isn't
BOB! And since no one seems to know about the -request mailing list
convention, I think the request address should be changed to "get-down-on-your-
knees-and-BEG-for-slack".

This isn't a mailing list, it's Grand Central Station. So where do I board
an outgoing saucer?

I once had the misfortune to share a dormitory in France with someone called
Dean Ellis. His speciality was waiting until the room was completely dark,
then standing naked on his bed and periodically illuminating the scene with a
camera flash unit.

I wonder if it's the same guy?

Does the world want to read about your SubGenius subscription status? Not likely.

Do I want to piss away the little slack that "Bob" grants me by forwarding your rants to the world? Even less likely.

So, please, if you can see the keyboard through the cartoon-like hallucinations, try to address subscription requests and removals to

subgenius-request@mc.lcs.mit.edu

and material for the list to

subgenius@mc.lcs.mit.edu

Got that? I didn't think so.
