Subject: Is death a valid excuse?
The article which stated
" LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- A parking enforcement officer who placed a ticket
on the dashboard of a car with a slain man at the wheel was distracted
and didn't notice the corpse, officials said."
leaves many unanswered questions. Does death absolve the driver of the
responsibility to pay the ticket? What was the exact infraction? Was the
car towed away, or does it remain, gathering tickets which the estate
will be obliged to pay? Does bOb get a cut?
