Mother unaware of pregnancy until delivery
Cindi Stiles and her husband got at 5-pound, 2-ounce surprise
when they went to the hospital to tend to her stomach cramps.
It was at the hospital that they first learned the woman was ex-
pecting her fourth child.
Mrs. Stiles, a 31-year-old fastfood restaurant worker, last
week delivered a baby girl that she had been carrying nearly eight
months without knowing about it.
She said she thought her pain might have been her gallbladder.
Mrs. Stiles delivered Sarah Jean Friday, minutes after being
admitted to the hospital.
The mother said she gained six pounds during the pregnancy and
that her menstrual cycle seemed unchanged.
