PROVIDENCE, R.I. (UPI) -- Lawyers for nine people accused of laundering $134 million through Rhode Island banks for a Colombian cocaine cartel have challenged the jury composition, saying too many of them have Anglo-Saxon first names. Out of a panel of 99 prospective jurors, there were 59 Roberts, 15 Joannes or variations of that name, 14 Joans and eight Anthonys.
As John Astin so eloquently put it: ``Every Tom, Dick, and Harry is named `Bob'.''
-30- Bob
