Yes. We all know that the Bible is garbage. You don't have to tell us
that. And please don't send your unsubscribe messages to the list, they
are annoying. Why don't you just pray and let Jesus remove you from the list?
What's the matter? Can't he do it? Some omnipotent being.

Ok, people. This "Final Warning" has been posted three times in as many days;
what say we give it a rest?
Merci.

In 1987, the FDA re-arranged the wording of Life Extension Foundation
literature and used this information to obtain a search warrant. Then
the FDA raided the Foundation's facilities in February of 1987.
After four years a federal judge ordered the FDA to return the products
seized. FURTHER, THE JUDGE ORDERED THE FDA TO PAY OVER $20,000 OF THE
FOUNDATION'S LEGAL FEES because of the FDA's wrongful actions.
The Foundation has sued the FDA agents who committed perjury to obtain
the search warrant, and then caused the destruction of the seized
products. (They were stored for four years in an open warehouse and the
stuff spoiled. Typical thug mentality.)
In 1989, FDA agents went to the Life Extension Foundation's printer
and told him they would seize his printing presses and throw him in
jail if he printed any more of the Foundation's "illegal" newsletters!
(The Life Extension Foundation has sued the FDA agent responsible for
making these statements that so grossly violated the First Amendment
to the Constitution. No word yet on the outcome of that suit.)
Stop the FDA, Support Senate Bill 784 and House Resolution 1709

| Are you sure that this was not done? I have pointed out that it is
| quite possible that nothing was found. Who would have considered it
| necessary to look for a totally unknown contaminant in the particular
| process used? If it is required to test most of the output, this
| means a ban rather than a test.
The tryptophan manufacturing process used by Showa Denko -- the company
whose bad batch of tryptophan killed dozens of people -- underwent two
different changes, not just one. First was the introduction of recom-
binant DNA. (Hey, let's ship Jeremy Rifkin off to Japan, permanently!)
The second one was to reduce by more than half the amount of activated
charcoal filtration that the product went through.
The idiots at the FDA want to ban all amino acids; that's the only
reason they haven't removed their ban on tryptophan.
Right now, even a physician cannot prescribe tryptophan in the United
States. Idiotic.

Imagine that! The FDA decided that "book burning" was not the way to go
-- and they figured it out for themselves, with their *own* *initiative*!
Whatever innovative concept will they think of next? Freedom Of Speech,
perhaps?
| There has been a posting on the libertarian mailing list of a seizure in
| the state of Washington, which included books.
Not surprising at all. Don't confuse the incredibly noble purpose of
the FDA -- protecting the public health -- from their Nazi-like actions.
The noble purpose versus the government agency's actions must be judged
separately; they are NOT the same thing.
This isn't the only FDA "book-burning" incident either.
| >The only reason for
| >the continual resurrection of this case is to excite the paranoid.
No, there have been more and more cases of this sort of thing from the
FDA.
The largest number of letters ever received by Congress (up to that time)
was when the FDA wanted to ban saccharin.
There are a lot of people who think differently than the FDA does, and
who intend to maintain their freedom to do so.
The bottom line is that the FDA claims the right to censor scientific
information IN ADVANCE. We're not talking about fraud here -- the fact
that a given health claim is completely true is of absolutely no value
in mounting a defense.
It's censorship of scientific information pure and simple. TRUTH IS
NO DEFENSE. They'll prosecute you if you make any health claim that
they haven't previously approved.
I don't think you have to be paranoid to find that a worrisome trait
in a governmenal agency, especially one that has armed agents at its
beck and call and uses them.
Best Wishes

OK, who's being cruel to the capital "C" Christian?
Why don't you try picking on a religion your own size?
What do you suppose he meant by "S___"?
"...I do not need to read this Stud."
Repressed homosexual urges. (not that there's anything wrong with that.)
"...I do not need to read this Saga."
Well, yes there have been quite a few issues...
"...I do not need to read this Scam."
Praise "Bob!"
"...I do not need to read this Scud."
Can't say I was able to do much more than lick one of those Durian candies...
"...I do not need to read this Sect."
There are no sects in the Church of the Subgenius!
"...I do not need to read this Sham."
He's got us there.
"...I do not need to read this Sign."
It's a sign from "Bob".
"...I do not need to read this Slop."
Yum, Yum.
"...I do not need to read this Smut."
Gimme me more!
"...I do not need to read this Snub."
"...I do not need to read this Sore."
festering?
"...I do not need to read this Soul."
I never tried reading one, always to busy chewing.
"...I do not need to read this Spoo."
ah.. now I understand what he meant...

But wait there's more!

Slap me harder, harder!
I'm sure my personal mailbox is much larger (and wider) than yours...
> It used to be fun, no wit it is BEASTLY, log off and die.
Ah yes the beasts can be fun to slap too!
No you log off or kill me.
> This is blatant solicitation at my job site. (Hmmm,Legal, YES!!!)
Has anyone asked him for money yet?
> STOP SENDING THE CRAP!!!
oh please, just a little more...

What did I tell you, I told you that crystal Pepsi kills people, and
now it's beginning. First needles in Diet Pepsi, next tracking devices
in Crystal Pepsi that make your muscles swell up and give you a bad
Austrian accent (but you get Sharon Stone for a while until you get
your memory back).
