Subject: Gaint bugs bred for horror movie
Two junior high students are being treated for fourth degree roach bites and
another has disappeared in a bizzare cult religion fiasco deep in the sewers of
St. Louis last saturday. Several stories are circulating at this point but for
the purposes of this and similar reports we will only print the stupidest one,
the one that is of course the absolute truth.
San antonio star excerpt from june 29, 1975:
Giant bugs bred for horror movie-
GIANT cockroaches, 10 inches long were bred by the University of California for
a new thriller movie, BUG, starring Bradford Dillman. The 1 million dollar
production, now finishing production in St Louis, tells how an earthquake
unleashes thousands of man eating roaches that have been trapped underground in
air pockets since pre-historic times. Directed by Chris Whittle and produced by
Richard Dobbs, Dillman plays a professor who must destroy the insects before
they take over the world.
more clippings have surfaced:
University of California denies breeding mettaloid roaches-
U of C has denied responsibility for the three foot long Insects spotted near
and around campus, Students claim that the experiments used for last years film
"the BUG" were disposed properly, and that the sightings can be linked to the
rampant drug problem on campus.
One student we spoke with said he was quite glad to be rid of the roaches,
calling them, "nazi super bugs".
The three boys, whose names have not been made available at this time, were
allegedly performing rituals in a juvenile attempt to raise Cthulu when the
"roaches" (hell creatures) poured into the sewer through an open conduit,
injuring two seriously and apparently abducting the third.
further information to help clarify this situation will be appreciated.
