Well hey...just for the record a friend and I met Ben of New England
Comics too... and WE TOOK HIM TO WENDY'S!! Apparently, my friend who's
REALLY into the Tick kept writing and writing and writing letters like
"If you let me tour NEC I'll take Ben to Wendy's"... and finally they let
him tour (which they don't usually do) the place in Quincy, bring a friend,
AND take Ben to Wendy's. I still have some original artwork that Ben did
for us when we went there and some old TICK pins they gave me that "fell
off the truck". This was 2 or 3 years ago... I don't think I remember what
the guy looks like anymore... but he was a nice guy. Showed us a preview of
the next issue (at the time). I was never into comics though (although
The Tick is VERY funny, especially their serious version of Yogi Bear's
"A Perfect Place"... that was hilarious).
