Subject: Nintendo makes SubGenius breakthrough!
My father-in-law (a latent Sub if I ever met one) furnished each of
his children's families with a Sega Genesis this past Christmas; for
his own home, he purchased a Super Nintendo. Now, I was properly
appreciative of this gesture; anything that keeps kids' minds away
from the ConDuping Technoboredom of Television is Slack in my book.
Needless to say, we spent the entire holiday playing Super Nintendo.
Whilst playing the _Super Mario World_ game, I found that Nintendo
has made a SubG breakthrough! I kept finding these small, round
objects labelled with a "P". Finally, I had Mario grab one, and
WOOSH!
He *immediately* went into OverMan mode! The bloated face, the
rigid smile, extensive powers over wind and travel...my little
Mario was a Digital Philo Drummond! I was shocked and amazed;
"Bob" has obviously infiltrated the video game market to a much
greater degree than I had suspected.
I went back to read the manual (who *ever* reads these things
*before* playing the game?), and it claimed that "P" stood for
"Power"...but I know better.
It's "Bob's" *PILS*, *THAT'S* what the "P" stands for! "Bob" is
letting the kids know at an early age that OverManhood awaits them
*IF* the avoid the Con and find a realworld source of Pils...
Praise "Bob"!
