Theology at its Finest
Theologians have been meeting for 15 years to revise the Revised
Standard Version the Bible. The New Revised Standard Version (or
NRSV) will be published in 1990.
Among the changes are two that were made to avoid possible
misunderstanding:
Psalm 50:9 is being changed from "I will accept no bull from your
house" to "I will not accept a bull from your house."
2 Corinthians 11:25 is being changed from "Once I was stoned" to
"Once I received a stoning."

While some people are content to watch mostly the west end
cable type programming, and never get more adventureous than to
punch up the Recurring Feeds listed in popular sat guides, there
are some folks who enjoy the UNIQUE programs available on TVRO.
To this end, I offer this guide of programming which presents
a spectrum of things you just don't usually get to hear on the
conventional media. Every attempt is made to keep the listing
current and accurate. Your contributions are welcome, and
will be considered for future editions

Will Ever Need)
G3/12 24 Hours/daily - The University Network
-Doctor (eu)Gene Scott
The old man of the sky. Once the beacon by which
EVERYONE tuned their dish, the "Doc" has been on the
birds for over 10 years. People keep asking: "Who
is this guy, is he for real". You can not fully
appreciate Doc Scott until you have been watching him
for several months. BEST time to watch is Saturday
night overnight to Sunday Morning. Roll tape. Topics
include UFO'S, Pyramids, Bermuda Triangle, and his
unique brand of Christianity. Along the way he will
pitch a fit or two, and demand your money. Doc is an
acquired taste. I am proud to say that I have Kings
Dish License #495, and have been watching him since
the first day he hit the birds, BEFORE WESTAR 5, when
he rented time from Mother Angellica! He has changed
a LOT over the years, but he still runs some of the
old tapes, so check him out. He will grow on you.
F2/13 24 Hours/daily - The Outdoor Channel
Not what you think from the name. This channel has
some right wing politics, from the late "Buzzard", a
gold prospector who began on satellite as a weekend
only offering. His untimely death in late 1993 has
not stopped the programming, as the channel is now run
by his two sons. Of course, Buzzard has many years of
tapes on the shelf, so his philosophy (Pro American
right wing constitutionalist) lives on. Also seen on
the Outdoor channel, the SHOOTIN' SHOW (Guns Guns and
more guns) as well as some corny old westerns. Recently
the Outdoor channel moved from its previous location of
F2/03.
G3/01 11PM-11:30PM - Another Voice of Freedom
-Ernst Zundel
The Holocaust Revisionist and Hitler Love Fest program,
complete with a German Accent to add authenticity.
Ernie has been in Jail for his beliefs, but successfully
fought for the right to say what he says, though it seems
to offend MOST of humanity. See the swiming pool where
the Auschwitz Prisoners frolicked (and here you thought it
was a body pit). Hear the TRUTH about Schindler's List.
Black arm band optional attire for viewing.
G3/01 Sunday 11:30PM-12Mid - Now Take My Hand
-Sister Spring
"It is windy in outer space. I know. I've been there"
"I died to bring you these truths". Sister Spring is
perhaps the most unusual of all the religious programs
on the air today. "She who is speaking to you is wearing
the efrote of the priesthood of Malchisidect, here to
call out the whosoever will" Her viewers are called
"Runners", and she has a teddy bear named Pudding Time
that she talks to. Her eyes glow while she tells you
about Vultures we have not yet seen, and once she
revealed how she cursed her plumber and he died. You
won't believe some of the things she says, but keep
tuning in - You just MIGHT!

- Jack and Ouida Rehburg
A two hour show featuring old fashioned preaching
and phone calls. Some of the callers are in desparate
straights at the end of their rope. Some of the callers
are skeptics, and a few are downright abusive. They
pray for them all, and give them what for direct from
the bible. A real One on One show. Sometimes boring,
sometimes fascinating.
ASC1/7 M-F 12Mid Brother Dortch
Remember the PTL club, and Jim Baker who is now
languishing in prison, while Tammy frolics with her
new boyfriend? Well Brother Dortch was also part of
that ministry, and he also spent some time in prison.
Now fully disabled, with cancer and a few other ailments,
Brother Dortch takes calls from those who are absolutely
desparate and miserable. He claims he does not get paid
for doing the show. He wants to hug everyone.
ASC1/11 NATV (National Access Television)
Some of the most unusual stuff on TV today.
See everything from TOPLESS Blonde TV to Zydeco Music.
See shows from the Gay Entertainment Network. See
Doctor Susan Block do her sex talk show from her bed.
See Robin Byrd interview all the male and female
strippers who come to NYC, and each of them dances
to her recording of "Baby Let Me Bang Your Box"
WAY too many ads for 900 sex lines to make it worth
viewing for extended periods. The ads are so repetitious
it is obvious they figure no one watches more than 10
minutes. If the ads were less repetitive you could
watch it for over a half hour before getting REALLY
bored unless you are in the 16-20 year old age group.
Parental Notice: The programs on NATV are of strong
sexual nature, and include nudity and frank sexual
discussion. If you have kids, you may wish to lock
this channel out, it is UNSCRAMBLED.
C1/11 24 Hours/Daily N1 Network One
More 900 Sex Lines, Bikini Contests, heavilly edited
sex frolic flicks, cut down to the PG level. Not
just content to run the 900 ads, they actually shrink
the feature films down so they can put those phone
numbers at the top and bottom of the screen. Again
designed for the adolescent libido, this one is perhaps
the most boring thing on satellite. Listed here only
because it is different from the norm.

Chuck Harder's Network, with the For The People Show
Monday thru Friday LIVE from 2PM to 5PM. Consumer
activisim with UFO's and Conspiracy Theories for good
measure. Also heard on PRN are Patriotic Shows, and
Jack Ellory who seems to be from another universe.
C1/20 7.4W 24 Hours/Daily Independent Broadcasters Network
Overnight, hear the Stan Major Show, a Conservative
live all night 5 hour call in program beginning at
midnight. See if you hear Jade, a frequent caller.
Stan sometimes gets testy with the callers. Sometimes
an interesting diversion when you can't sleep since
most programming after 3AM is taped, and Stan is Live.
IBN is also the origination point of the Sunday Night
Dr. Susan Block Sex Show (also at Midnight).
C1/14 75 W 24 Hours Daily American Entertainment Network
Mostly the Michael Reagan Show (Son of Ron) very
Conservative and quite republican. Comedy stuff
by the Capitol Steps (worth it just to hear this
stuff) This three hour show is repeated over and
over and over.
S3/17 5.01W Monday - Friday 12NOON-2PM
Randal Terry Live
The Voice of the Resistance. The convicted
anti Abortionist, and his sidekick Harley David
Balou. A religious program, but don't let that
fool you. Very Conservative politics, And quite
entertaining, with creative comedy bits and
biting commentary. Like no other religious show
you ever heard. Surprisingly, this program has
broken a LOT of political stories to do with
Whitewater. Worth a Listen.

America's Town Forum

Patriotism in Action. Unusual Guests, government
conspiricy, phone calls. Big Brother is watching.
Chips in your car tell satellites where you are.
Your money is worthless, Global Bankers rule the
planet. Income tax is unconstitutional, You don't
have to pay it.
G3/17 5.8W Monday - Friday 12Mid The Hour of the Time

The Illuminatti. Black Hellicopters. The secret
societies are the enemy. Masonic handshake
revealed. Jupiter will be ignited by a space
probe, making us a binary star system. The Germans
had a base on the moon in the 30's. Great Music
too. Listener phone calls. Bill is the best
of them all. Not to be missed.

encounters, Groom Lake Coverup, Area 51, Billy
Meyer, Video Dave. Have you been abducted? The
only surviving UFO show on Satellite.
F2/07 5.5W 24 Hours/Daily THE OVERCOMMER
-Brother R. G. Stair
The Last Day Prophet of God. The Lord is Coming
in YOUR Lifetime. Prepare to meet your God. THIS
is the LAST Generation. Maranatha. Brother Stair
lives in Walterboro S.C. in a simple trailer, with
his wife and Children, and they have a farm where
his faithful followers live and raise their own
food. On the property is the Radio Room, from where
he broadcasts to the world over shortwave and satellite.
Good old fashioned Hellfire Preaching, phone calls
special guests, and tapes revealing the various
government and New World Order nastiness. Biochips
will be emplanted in your hand or forehead, so the
Government will always be able to trace you, and
you won't be able to do business without it since
all money will be abolished. Is Brother Stair who
he says he is? Listen for yourself!

While it is a standard over the air network,
TSN is perhaps the most constitutionally aware
state network. Texans are independent and savvy
about what is going on in government. Some of
the guests and the things they say will surprise
and shock you. Definately worth tuning in, though
since it is SCPC, you will have to hunt for it,
as no two SCPC receivers agree on freq readings.
G2 SCPC Transponder 3 - WIOD, Miami Florida
1394.000~ 7 days a week Schedule Varies
on R-100
WIOD can be considered Radio Free Anarchy.
It is difficult to believe this stuff goes out
on an FCC licensed station. The language is
sometimes foul, and the content scatalogical.
Randi Rhodes, the Jewish American Princess and
former truck driver holds forth in the
afternoons.
Neil Rogers is openly gay, as is the Late
Saturday evening host, Drew Michaels, who gets
many abusive calls.
WIOD is on the bird because they feed the shows
to WSUN, their sister station. Thus not all
WIOD programming is heard. Sadly the best duo,
Rick and Suds, have been moved to mornings and
are no longer carried on the SCPC feed.

Radio Free America
Tom Valentine 9PM-Midnight Monday-Friday
Fractal Friday, Weird Science, Conspiracy, New

Charles Addler
Heard in the afternoons on SUN network, Chuck is
more conventional as a talk show host, a former
Canadian, very conservative
