My Dear $t. &rew,

} >IS that so FUCKING DIFFICULT?
}
} christ on a pogo stick, man. honest mistake...
} no reason to bite my head off.

I didn't bite your head off. I merely flamed you. Lightly. You're
barely warm enough to spread margarine across. I've only actually
bitten the heads off of people who've made that mistake more than three
times. And in each case, the fountaining torrent of blood shorted out
their keyboards, rendering them unable to post a reply bemoaning my
harsh tactics.

} Re: Talking Heads...
} >[erroneous supposition removed to avoid long rehash of old flamage.]
}
} so, I guess the rumor is wrong. Can you blame me for asking?

David Byrne and some SubGenius mad-bomber named Puzzling Evidence
(except with "cool" anti-standard cApiTalizAtiOn) had a big pissing
contest about who stole whose magnificent subgenius art-concepts and
hair-prose. Or something. This was in the days before the SubGenius
Digest was a digest; when it was a mailing list that could fill your box
with dozens of pointless and annoying messages a day (instead of just
one really long pointless and annoying message, like now). I think
there are several ongoing lawsuits and a couple of minor religions all
sprung from this Disagreement.

Now you KNOW.

There might be more about this in the Archives (available via the WWW
somewhere.) Those of us who lived through it the first time would be
More Than Grateful if this topic wasn't followed up any further.

} >[stupid commercial also removed]
}
} And what the hell is the matter with it... it's a damn .sig file.
} mind you, it's now removed. a guy tries to make an honest living...
} sheesh...

You're right. Okay everybody, he's still selling that same newsletter
that he's advertised in the .sig of his previous postings. If it's the
sort of thing you like, then you'll sort of like it. Send him money.

} >[authors can avoid this sort of stupid censorship by sending their stuff

}
} again, slip of the mouse button. take a valium, forget about it.
} won't happen again.
}
} $t. @ndrew

Good. It (or its converse) happens to us here at Immoderator-Central
All The Time. Send me the valium and you will be forgiven.
