ill use dinosaurs as an example. A lot people that believe in teh bible say
that god put dinosaur bones in the ground as 'background' and they never
really were alive.

Now just imagine EVERYTHING was brought into existense at teh instant of
your birth including every person you know. The only thing you have to prove
that anything existed before you is accounts from others (who were given
false memories at teh time they were created) and faith.

Or, to take it a step further, let's say God created the entire Earth ONE
SECOND AGO, with you sitting in front of your computer reading this post,
and he planted in your mind memories of everything before this moment.

Implausable? Not any more so than a mysterious boogieman who lives in a
magical up in the clouds.

Funny, I've been told by christians that the DEVIL put dinosaur bones in
the ground to make people doubt God's existence.

I have been reading alot of comments in this group for the past week
about what happen to the WTC etc,

Now I guess its time to put in my 2 cents worth: To be brief this
country (USA) was founded on a strong belief in God, the right to be
free and worship as we please, So for a narrow minded JACKASS to
state "Its time to stop playing with your invisible from the sky", is
the ramblings of a "dumass"

Look at your money, "In God We Trust", this whole nation is founded on
a belief in GOD. In closing if we as Americans don't beleive in God,
we're no better than the bastards that carried out the attact.

the guys that did this DO believe in god, they did this for religious
beliefs (i think its something like, "those who die in the protection of
islam will go to heaven".)

also, for future reference its spelled dumbass.

America wasn't FOUNDED at all. It was STOLEN.

Further, America was discovered during a time when there was a strong
belief that the Earth was flat. That wasn't true, either. There's a big
difference between what you've been taught and what's true.

Just because some bunch of primitive superstitious screwheads believed some
dorky fairy tale 230-odd years ago doesn't make them RIGHT. People back
then were mostly ignorant, illiterate, and superstitious.

They believed tomatoes were poisonous and that black people were farm
animals to be bought and sold. They believed that their "God" supported
their slaughter of the Native Americans under the American expansionist
ideology of Manifest Destiny, which said that it was the God-given right of
all United States citizens to take land, including land occupied by
Mexicans and Indians.

>the right to be
> free and worship as we please,

Well, right there you shoot yourself in the foot. You have the right to "be
free and worship as you please", but if I don't believe in God I'm a
"narrow minded JACKASS". Well FUCK YOU, JUNIOR, I AM an American, and I
served in the United States Army as a light weapons infantryman.

What have YOU done for your country other than EMBARRASS yourself publicly
with your stupid "I believe in Santa" bullshit?

>So for a narrow minded JACKASS to
> state "Its time to stop playing with your invisible from the sky", is

That's "Dumbass".
>

So fucking what?

>In closing if we as Americans don't beleive in God,
> we're no better than the bastards that carried out the attact.

It was the terrorists' belief in God that made them attack us in the first
place. It was their endless fight for the HOLY LAND that started this shit
in the first place. And being Christian doesn't make you BETTER. The NAZIS
were Christians, the Spanish Inquisition was committed by Christians, shit,
if every drop of blood ever spilled for your bloodthirsty God were to flow
over the land today, it would be as deep as horse's heads.

Your two cents worth isn't even worth that much, sonny. Turn off your TV,
read a fucking history book, and stop believing everything you're told.

If there's ANYONE here who's not a good American, it's YOU. A GOOD American
does what's right and just, and exercises his freedom to QUESTION AUTHORITY
when it seems like someone in power is doing something wrong. The reason
that people worldwide HATE Americans so much is because of ignorant yahoos
like YOU suck up every LIE you're told without question.

Now go rejoin the herd before you scratch your nose on the barbed wire.

A chance combination of chemicals and electricity, my friend.

David Attenborough and Carl Sagan both did a good job of explaining it in
layman's terms. Check out "Life On Earth" and "Cosmos." If you don't care to
read, The Discovery Channel is launching a new series called "Evolution." If
you're really interested in an explanation, and not just baiting, you'd do
well to catch it.

If it were true that matter can neither be created nor destroyed, (which
it's not), saying that there HAS to be an old man in the sky to create it
is a ridiculous leap from the high cliffs of superstition into the lagoon
of ignorance.

For that matter, your belief in this "God" is EGOTISTICAL SPECISM.
Let's for a moment assume there is a "God". How terriby coincidental that a
bunch of HUMANS decided to write a book telling how "God" created them in
"HIS" image. Then these men use the threat of HELL, as well as the more
earthly punishments of MURDER AND TERRIBLE TORTURE to make people "love"
and obey his will, as dictated by his earthly representatives, who of
course had nothing to gain by establishing control over large groups of
people. Boy o boy, it's a good thing that these people have nothing to gain
from promoting superstition, or someone might decide to twist it around and
abuse it for their own personal benefit. I bet if THAT happened, the Pope
would live in a giant palace in his own city-state, instead of that
basement apartment in Newark, NJ.

Maybe God REALLY created FLUFFY LITTLE BUNNIES in his image, and we're
supposed to just hop around in the grass and fuck alot.

Maybe someday someone other than yourself will touch your peepee and you'll
forget all about this silly God business.

I don't give a shit how smart he is (by the way, you should learn his NAME
before you start tossing around high-falutin' theories).

Unless he was THERE, he doesn't know jack shit, he can only guess. I don't
know for sure, myself, why the universe comes from, but I certainly don't
believe the fairy stories from some book written thousands of years ago by
a bunch of superstitious camel jockeys.

OK OK, youre right. There's a magical being somewhere up in the sky, and

parents to spend in church as a kid. I could have been watching wrestling
or doing something constructive like playing video games.
