I guess it was just a matter of time... for the length of this
"crisis", I've been flipping between CNN and the three majors. and i
was believing them good. but CNN just hit the wall, and officially
began the "when is the coverage too much coverage?" angle, and I SWEAR
they showed 7-8 AMAZING, *almost spectacular* angles of the second tower
crash... and with each cut, they asked- "does this look real?" "does
this look like a movie?"... HONESTLY! if ANYONE is taping CNN
regularly, drop me a line... this was a segment they aired around
1:30am- 2:10am Saturday morning., and i'm already wondering if my memory
is just.... insane. i WOULD SWEAR they spent 2-3 minutes of quick cuts
and spectacular angles telling me that real life was... a movie. or so
movie-like that it was unreal, and thus i didn't need to worry about it.

ohmighod! it's getting worse! i'm suddenly get private details about
why 6-7 of the passengers were on the flights to begin with! "Marge,
67, was not able to see her cousin often, but was overjoyed when her
niece found her discount airfare on line." for the love of Pete! I WAS
HUNGRY FOR FER-EN-ER BLOOD just a few hours ago, but suddenly CNN has
made it all fake. i was ready to enlist, until 30 minutes ago, but now
i'm no longer sure ANYTHING EVEN OCCURED! it didn't help, seeing Bush
with his arm awkwardly around a NY firefigter. jeez, CNN has almost
single-handedly told me that this is all make believe, but I'd prefer to
hear from our people.... Rev Sinphaltus- SOMETHING did happen right?
cause teevee is trying to fool me good!

lordie! CNN JUST told me that:
9-11- 1941 the Pentagon was built, or named, or something (not sure what
exactly, but they said
60 years to the day.)
9-11-1609- MANHATTEN IS "DISCOVERED" they're grasping at more than WE
ARE!

is any of this real? it was ok when scared-shitless common people said
"it's like a fcking movie!" but CNN is telling me that IT WAS A FCKING
MOVIE!

Maybe I just need a nap.

And honestly- I don't mean to be flippant about anything that happened, I
swear I don't!
(I'm actually a bit blood thirsty)
But just tuning in, as I have been fairly faithfully over the period, the
coverage HAD THE STINK OF FRADULENCE ABOUT IT. But then again- this is day
3 or 4 without any commercials on CNN, i think. That's unique.

Boston. com already did an article about celebrities in Boston who MIGHT
have chosen to take those flights back to LA, but didn't.

Would we be weeping any harder if Anne Heche had been on board though? Or
Steve Martin?

However, I'm not sure I want a peek at the alternate universe where the
Backstreet Boys were on board. That would just be ... too cold.

Not true, unfortunately. Peace has never been given a fair chance so far,
except in rare isolated instances.

The governments and organizations of humans do not have that capability. It
must happen as if by total, accidental, dumb luck.
