Nunh-unh! You aren't kidding!

Terrorists DID attack Amsterdam, just before our last trip there. I
learned, after the fact. There had been a serious situation just a day
or two before we got there involving a big bomb stashed inside a
locker. I am not sure if it was just a bomb scare or if they found a
real bomb.

I had been taken aback to see jack booted Eurocops patrolling the Red
Light District. Lord Yeti or one of the Dutch SubGenii explained the
recent terrorism scare to me.

It also explained why the airport security people were WAY jumpy when
we accidentally knocked over an ad display, making a LOUD noise. They
about jumped on us before realizing it was an accident. Then the young
security guy said, grinning, "You need to drink some coffee! Lots of
coffee! About SIX CUPS!"

Sadly, Holland is much more susceptible to Middle Eastern related
attacks than we are simply because they're closer to the Zone of
Trouble. Amsterdam is an international crossroads and symbol of Western
prosperity and SACRED $ALE$. It's mostly foreigners. AND MOST OF THOSE
FOREIGNERS LOOK KINDA SHIFTY-EYED, if you ask me.

Freddie Mercury, to my mind, will always be one of the most skilled
singers in rock and roll. To my knowledge he only croaked once in his
whole career.
