This is the 8-hour "ROUGH CUT," a necessary stage in the culling-down process -- the legendary bootleg "complete version" that SubGenius DIE-HARD COLLECTORS, and X-Day attendees, MUST HAVE! It's a mix of the events and ranters on stage, with a grab-bag of views and vignettes from the various insane off-stage aspects of X-Day Brushwood, chronologically organized. I compressed this down from the 40 or so hours of Video 8 and VHS shot by Rev. Ymmot Zepol, Rev. Chris Lee, Rev. Damon Smith, me, the volunteers on StangCam, Rev. Craig Mitchell, Pastor Craig, and Nekromantik II. I do not have frame-accurate editting gear in my office, so this is an "assemble-edit" using whichever camera had the best coverage of a given scene. It's more like a home movie than a slick documentary -- but it's a DAMNED SPECTACULAR home movie.
"Slick," finished 2 hour version won't be done until Xmas 98 at the earliest.
