Britain turned down Augusto Pinochet's plea for freedom today, allowing Spain's extradition to go forward, leading to have him stand trial in Madrid for crimes against humanity.

In similar and related events, this decision prompted the country of Mexico to accede to Denmark's request and hold former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher under house arrest in her condo in Acapulco, to await extradition to Copenhagen to stand trial for crimes against humanity, citing tortures and deaths in The Maze at Long Kesh and other such incidents occuring during the occupation of Ireland.

Mrs. Thatcher was quoted as saying, "This is absurd. We have always been allowed to torture and kill the Irish. That is not genocide -- that is statecraft."

The President of Mexico said, "Puta, cerrita -- she one more time call me 'boy' or 'Pancho' and we do her right here, no extradition, no nothin."

"If you've gotten to a point where you can't enjoy a pie in the face, stop what you are doing immediately, give away all your possessions, go to the desert, find a small spotted lizard and follow it, asking repeatedly, 'Who am I?' until it answers you. This is enlightenment.

"Of course there could be a gun in that pie. There could be a gun in my pocket, too, or perhaps I'm just glad to see you."
