1) What is alt.friday for?
Alt.friday is an offshoot of alt.slack, the SubGenius newsgroup.
Actually it's a gag group that's been taken over by infamous SubGenius
artist/huckster/oil wrestler The IrReverend Friday Jones.
As such, alt.friday is hereby dedicated to the discussion of the
IrReverend Friday Jones, and all topics that interest Friday: the
Church of the SubGenius, Slack, horror movies, laserdiscs, puppet
construction, science fiction, hand-to-hand combat, hat design,
genetic engineering, computer art, bellybuttons, and of course the
endless flaming of badly spelled sex spams.
This newsgroup serves the valuable function of taking some pressure
off of alt.slack, which is generally bursting at the seams and could
use, well, some Slack!
2) What is alt.friday NOT for?
Filling up with stupid ads for phone cards, NOOD GIFZ, pyramid
schemes, and programs for sending out stupid ads.
3) Will I be flamed if I post advertisements here?
You may be flamed, mocked and parodied if you post _anything_ here.
You may also be lauded, praised, and raised on high in the eyes of
"Bob". Seriously, if you want to chime in, do so! No sticks and
stones allowed! NOTE: Please post binaries to alt.binaries.friday.
4) How can I find out more about the IrReverend Friday Jones and the
Church of the SubGenius?
