Any epileptics here?

I have a good friend who is epileptic, and his descriptions
of his seizures are fascinating. Before he spazzes out, he
gets a couple of seconds of deja-vu that is so strong it
nauseates him. Then he is out for anywhere from minutes to
an hour. When he wakes, he has feelings of religious
ecstasy, of being united with the universe, and a capacity
to understand physics far above his normal ability (he
builds experimental apparatus for the physics department).
These feelings and abilities fade over several days. In
normal life he is totally non religious, so the feelings of
being united with God and the universe have no personal
context for him.

Does anyone here have epilepsy, and if so, any interesting
effects to report?

It's the symptom of deju-vu that makes me curious. He must be riding
the scor for awhile.

Uh-oh.  Messages from Cthulu.  He's planning to come back.
Your friend must be killed now, for the good of humanity.
