ART MOVIES #1 best version

I am posting these "art films" in all known formats, but I MOST HIGHLY recommend the Quicktime (MOV) versions, if you can play 'em -- reason being, these really are "slide shows" of art, and while they look great playing in real time with the music, in QuickTime format alone one can make a movie record AND PLAY BACK at 1 frame per second, or 2 frames per second, as these are.

That way you only need 10 frames for a 20 second movie, say, instead of 24 frames per second for 20 seconds. This saves on file size, so you can make those 10 frames REALLY GOOD.

In this case the Quicktime versions are saved in JPEG-photo compression, as opposed to much lossier compressions usually used for movies.

So they still look GREAT frame by frame, and you can move through the frames at your own speed by pausing and then advancing a frame at a time using your handy arrow button.

So it's like 6 months of art in 2 minutes and a very small overall file size... a briefcase nuke, if you will.

But only in QUICKTIME format.

MPEG won't let you run less than 24 frames per second -- so those are HUGE even with heavy compression. WINDOWS MEDIA is second best in that one can run that as low as 8 fps, and it's a teeny file size. RM, well, you can't frame-by-frame that, you can only run it in real-time.

But hey.
