Droooollll.....

Stop that, I've made a mess of my keyboard from all the spittle.
Pavlovian response, indeed.

I'm a nut for Korean food. There are several very good Korean
restaurants in the Troy area northeast of Detroit. If anyone wants to
partake the afternoon before the show, lemme know, I'll drop the
coordinates to you. Whois my domain for proper delivery, and common
webmail always works.

Post-up if you make any new discoveries,
or of any exceptionally good items.

They had a bunch of eels today, too!

There were some very thin Korean beef slices
that were $12.50 lb! I'm not sure how they cook those.
I have to grab people and ask them stuff.

They had coconuts 2 for 99¢!
Also baby Thai coconuts

Well, I'll let you folks in on my secret spots.

1. Gratiot Ave N of 14 Mile Rd in Clinton Twp, there's a Korean Market
that has a small restaurant in an adjoining suite. Owner's a Korean War
vet who dragged his sweetie home, and has built the business from the
ground up. Wonderful ojinga bokkeum.

2. Well-known Korean place on 15 Mile & Dequindre in Sterling Heights,
Seoul Garden. Yummy everything, one of the best sushi bars in the area.

3. 15 Mile east of Crooks in Troy, can't remember the name, but
everything good, there.

4. Mound Rd N of M59 in Shelby Twp/Utica, Seoul Buffet I think it's
called. Another one that I just cannot ignore anytime I'm in the area
at lunch or dinnertime.

5. Rochester Rd between 16 & 17 is a little place called Shilla.

Many more little holes in the wall that I can't think of the names or
locations, though I'll take you to any of them.

I know how they cook those:

Fuck, I'm drooling again. Time to go out for dinner tonight.

Yeah, but I enjoy it more so I don't mind paying a bit extra!
