In most cases we just combine the two.

Couldn't tell ya about the SubG wedding ceremony, but the burial wedding
ceremony sounds interesting.

I don't know if we've ever been able to hold onto a body
long enough to have a burial. Sucker usually turns up
missing, or disappears a piece at a time. Don't suppose
it matters, though, except saving somebody the trouble
of digging a shallow, unmarked grave off the road a ways.

The 'Tumbleweeds' character, "Claude Clay", the undertaker,
put it best:

Ashes to ashes,
And dust to dust, son,
Get where yer goin'
With internal combustion.

What's really fun are the Short Duration Funerals, or "SurDurFuns
(tm)".

Well, I just ran screaming from the former. Can we just do the second?
What's Brushwood's rule on it? Anybody got a piano crate? I'd require at
least a 6'3" Baldwin baby grand sized one. I'm ready. I know, bury the
crate but leave the top open. Fill it with water. I'll do a cannonball
into it and then you can just nail the top down. Whaddaya say? Ah, fuck
the lot o' ya.
